We experience stress in our lives from good things as well as bad ones. Getting married is exciting and wonderful, and can also be stressful as you navigate cohabitation or family planning. A promotion at work may be just the thing you wanted, but you now feel the extra pressure to perform your best and not disappoint anyone. Moving to a new town can be an opportunity to explore new places and activities, and also adds the struggle of rebuilding your support system and friends.
There is one thing guaranteed in life and that is change. Sometimes we are adaptable and deal well with it, and sometimes we don't. Many of the changes in the past year during the pandemic haven't been good. Weddings were cancelled or downsized, family and friends died, businesses closed, homes and jobs were lost, and for many people the future now seems uncertain and scary. Even if amid the chaos of this past year you were able to experience a wonderful life transition like having a baby or entering a new job, the joy might feel diminished by the struggles of living in a different kind of world.
Whether you are navigating a good transition or a bad one, I want to help. My goal is to be your partner as you explore what you want to build in life and what is standing in your way (even if it turns out to be you). There will be no agenda on my part other than to help you make choices that you can live with, and no judgement for whatever you decide to do. With my services, you can move along your journey toward a happier, more confident, more secure version of yourself.
